In ARK Survival Ascended, Gacha Claus and Raptor Claus arrive just in time for the holiday season! Learn what makes them special and how you can benefit from them in this guide!

ARK Winter Event: The ARK Winter Wonderland 2023 started a few days ago. It brought back Gacha Claus as an event creature, offering something truly unique.
Where do you find Gacha Claus? The event creature moves around the island. You just have to be lucky enough to meet him here. Once you've found him, you may have to be patient. Without Raptor Claus, Gacha won't lift a finger!
This is what he gives you: Gacha Claus, who has been roaming the arks with the ARK Winter Wonderland Event for some time, can give you a wonderful gift in the form of Gacha crystals! To get them, you have to feed him, and keep him away from other dinosaurs or mammals. He doesn't like company.
This is simple, as mentioned above, you can find Gacha Claus in ARK living anywhere except on the aberration map. Here he stands out clearly because he doesn't actually live there either. You can also recognize him by his Christmas get-up. Trust me, you will discover it.
Tip: You can use a Quetzal to carry Gacha Claus and place it in an enclosure at your base. This way, you won't have to search for Gacha Claus again.
To feed Gacha Claus, you need to access its inventory. However, if you try to do this, you won't see any option to place your items inside. You'll learn what those items are shortly.
This is because you have to wait for Raptor Claus to appear. Raptor Claus typically appears between midnight and 2:00 AM in the morning (server time). Often, there's also a big announcement accompanied by a festive “Ho-Ho-Ho” sound effect.
Keep an eye on the sky for Raptor Claus and his reindeer sleigh! He drops gifts that you need to collect in order to take crystals from Gacha Claus. These gifts contain:
The last two contents are particularly important because Gacha Claus wants exactly these two items: Coal and Mistletoe.
Alternatively, you can also receive coal and mistletoe from other creatures during the event:
Search for Gacha Claus again and open its inventory. Now, place the coal and mistletoe inside. Gacha Claus will gradually consume them and, in the process, produce Gacha Crystals on its back. Most of the time, you'll receive a primitive Gacha Crystal, but in rare cases, it may drop Ascendant Crystals that you can simply pick up from the ground!
In the current ARK version, Gacha Claus drops a maximum of 10 crystals. Thereafter, the gift-giving is over. Now you can open the crystals and receive these items:
