Search for a planning application

You will not be able to view planning applications during the afternoon on Sunday 25 August while essential maintenance takes place. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Planning search allows you to find applications using an address or reference number.

The weekly and monthly lists show new applications registered close to you. Regularly check the list for your parish to keep up to date.

The Planning Map shows all current and decided applications for any location in North Somerset. Simply, go to the location, tick ‘Planning applications’ in the map legend, then zoom in.

You can set up email alerts, to automatically notify you about new applications in your area. However, emails are occasionally not delivered, so this method should not be relied upon.

Applications received before 2000 are not available to view online. You can make an appointment to see old applications at the Town Hall in Weston-super-Mare. There is no fee for this service.
